Ceremonial Tea

Ceremonial Tea is a way to connect to the senses and the natural slowness in our inherant nature, which is after all, nature itself. Our experienced practitioners aide in this call to presence, using the zen-inspired methods developed by the Japanese in the 1500's.

Ceremonial Tea has a way of moving and surfacing emotions. The deep call to presence allows parts of ourselves left unseen, to be heard in the stillness. 

What to expect: Wear comfortable, quiet in energy clothing. All speaking will be soft and largely limited. This ceremony is a meditative one, be prepared for long spans of quiet and stillness.

About Katherine:

Katherine is a soulful artisan and dedicated practitioner of the ancient art of Cha Dao, the way of tea. With a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of life and a passion for infusing intention into every aspect of her creative and spiritual pursuits, Katherine practices and facilitates Ceremonial Tea.

Katherine studied the way of tea from the Global Tea Hut community in Miaoli, Taiwan, which served as a catalyst for a lifelong dedicated practice. Through now countless shared tea bowls, Katherine has experienced the profound ways in which the way of tea can enrich and illuminate one's life journey. With each sip of tea, you’re invited to begin a journey of introspection, connection, and harmony.
