A night of stories to hear, and if you'd like, to tell!

If the call to share comes, use any medium to tell your story: poetry, movement, a relayed experience, music, dance, a written narrative, etc.; however it wants to flow through. (Original work only, please.)

APRIL'S THEME: ENFORCED APATHY

We originally had the theme Time Travel, and we’ll get to that, but with the current social-political climate we feel the need to turn our awareness and have opted for the poignant theme: Enforced Apathy: the silence that shadows speak.

This month, we challenge storytellers to confront the chilling quiet imposed when have been urged to look away from disturbing truths. What does that term bring to mind for you? This will serve as an outlet for processing questions on morality, anger, grief, spark creation from a place of moral awareness.

An audience favorite is awarded at the end of the evening for whatever story resonated most-- for us personally, or to the theme!

Storyteller's Canvas happens the 3rd Thursday of each month, and each month has a different theme to really stretch your creative bones!

Tickets are limited to 35 ppl! 15 story slots! Come cozy up for a night of stories.
